Console Access over IP

Avocent's SwitchView IP adds economical remote access capability to existing KVM switches. With secure, browser-based access, you can have BIOS-level, console access to multiple servers anywhere, anytime.

How it Works

The SwitchView IP provides secure control and management of the host computer through a web interface and client computer. The SwitchView IP supports a PS/2 keyboard and mouse on the local console and a USB keyboard and mouse for the host system. The SwitchView IP does not require any host video drivers.

Security

For anhanced security, 128 bit encryption ensures secure remote connections via industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connectivity. SwitchView IP also eases configuration complexities. Unlike software remote access solutions, SwitchView IP does not require agents for each host server.

System log

A system los enables you to track user login and logout, files access, critical events and other activities. Log files can be saved, printed and emailed.
